PPP draft on constitutional amendments, Bilawal asks public for suggestions – Pakistan

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto tweeted based on the proposals to complete the unfinished agenda of the Charter of Democracy related to judicial reforms.

Bilawal Bhutto also shared the draft of the PPP on constitutional amendments with the public, in which he also sought suggestions from the public to improve the 26th constitutional amendment.

Bilawal Bhutto wrote that we propose the establishment of a federal constitutional court, which has equal representation of all federal units, the federal constitutional court will resolve all issues related to fundamental rights, constitutional interpretation and disputes.

He said that our proposal is to end the process of appointment of judges by judges, to merge the appointment of judges with judicial and parliamentary committees, we are convinced of giving equal role to parliament, judiciary and legal community.
