PP Perbasi Candidate Exchange Still Dynamic

Yos Paguno takes the registration form to run as a Candidate for General Chairperson of PP Perbasi (Antara)

THE election of the new chairman of PP Perbasi for the 2024-2028 period is still dynamic. Although some names have emerged, it is not yet known for sure who will advance to the National Conference (Munas) scheduled for October 28-30, 2024 in Jakarta.

Registration for candidates for the PP Perbasi general chairman took place from Wednesday (14/8) to Friday (23/8). Forms can be obtained online via the link provided by the election committee.

So far only Budi Satriodjiwandono and Yos Paguno are known to have taken the form. Budi took the form online and also came directly to the PP Perbasi office at GBK Arena, Senayan, Friday (23/8).

Head of the Prospective Candidate Selection Team, Setia Dharma Madjid, said that in addition to Budi, there was one name that was already known to have taken the registration form, namely Yos Paguno. Meanwhile, those who downloaded it online, can only be known who they are when they have returned the form.

“Yes, you can take the form online or come in person. Those who just confirmed taking it were Budi and Yos Paguno,” said Dharma.

“The deadline for collecting the form is 5 pm, Friday (23/8). So, it is only known that those two people took the form. However, it is also unknown if others downloaded the online form,” he added.

Of the two names that have been confirmed, it has not been confirmed whether the figure expected to lead PP Perbasi is Azrul Ananda, Christopher Tanuwudjaja, Syailendra Bakrie, Lexyndo Hakim, or Augie Fantinus. The return of the registration form will be awaited until September 23, 2024, then verified by the Prospective General Chairperson Selection Team.

“The point is when the form is returned. It was only then that it was discovered who registered,” said Dharma. (Z-8)
