The amount of the Powerball jackpot to be drawn this Saturday remains at $875 million dollars, the third largest in the history of this lottery game.
According to the Powerball website, so far the cash value of the prize is $452.2 million.
Ever since someone won the $252.6 million jackpot on April 19 in Ohio, 36 draws have been carried out without a winner of the maximum sum.
The Lottery did not register a winner or winners in Wednesday’s draw.
However, 1.8 million tickets were awarded with smaller sums for a combined value of $16.5 million.
23, 35, 45, 66, 67, and the Powerball, 20, turned out to be the winning series numbers. The Power Play multiplier was 3X.
Mega Millions jackpot keeps rising
In the case of the Mega Millions, there were no winners in the draw this Friday where the winning numbers were: 10,24,48,51, 66, and the Mega Ball, 15.
The amount of the Mega Millions for next Tuesday’s draw today amounts to $640 million with a cash option of $328 million.
Four tickets, two in California; one in North Carolina and one in South Carolina each won $1 million in last night’s drawing. In the case of the ticket purchased in South Carolina, the amount amounted to $2 million with the option of the Megaplier 2x.
The draws for both games of chance take place at 11 pm
The Powerball is drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays; while the Mega Millions, Tuesday and Friday.
