People got stuck in the Ferris wheel, among other things. Fortunately, the rides were able to start operating once more shortly following 3 p.m. Shops and restaurants were also able to reopen.

According to Hydro-Québec, 18 outages deprived 843 customers of the Capitale-Nationale region of power on Thursday followingnoon.

In Chaudière-Appalaches, more than 17,000 customers are without power due to 26 outages.

In Quebec, nearly 491,000 people are without electricity, due to the triggering of protective measures related to forest fires. Interruptions are thus caused on three transmission lines from James Bay.
