sad memories
According to TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company), more than 2.2 million households are without electricity. These events are reminiscent of the catastrophic earthquake that caused a giant tsunami in 2011. The Fukushima nuclear power plant had suffered heavy damage, including the explosion of reactors. According to the authorities, today’s earthquake did not affect the power plants on the Japanese coast.
