The power went out in around 3,300 households in Berlin-Lichtenberg late Tuesday followingnoon.
Some areas near Frankfurter Allee are affected, as the spokesman for the Berlin electricity network, Olaf Weidner, said.
According to the Stromnetz Berlin website The streets affected are: Gotlindestrasse, Kubornstrasse, Plonzstrasse, Roedeliusplatz, Rutnikstrasse and the surrounding area.
