A new women’s business network has just arrived on the Côte d’Azur: Pouvoir d’Entreprendre, which aims to change the daily lives of women entrepreneurs and improve their living conditions.
“Because 80% of women entrepreneurs are affected by precariousness, alerts Nathalie Luccioni, its territory director and also an animal mediation worker. 60% of them earn less than €936 per month when the poverty line is €1,102.” A situation that Sandrine Berthier, the founder of Pouvoir d’Entreprendre en 2021 in Nantes, knows well, having experienced it.
And Nathalie Luccioni to elaborate: “A single mother and independent graphic designer, she did not find what she was looking for in existing networks.” Namely kindness, mentoring, exchange of skills to improve turnover and personal development. “We are all on an equal footing because we are all experts in our field”says Nathalie Luccioni.
Paid
A way of being which explains the rapid growth of the network present in around twenty cities in France with 240 members. “Money is not taboo with us. During our many weekly workshops accessible to all our members by video, we create partnerships between us and we recommend each other in exchange for commissions. Members who lead one of the many workshops are paid, just like the territory directors. The network is flexible; no event is obligatory.”
Other particularities: its accessibility – “Membership is €35 per month without commitment: you can register for one month only” – and its inclusiveness “since it can accommodate several people of the same profession; it is an asset for us and not a competition”assures the director of the Nice region.
The profile of the members? Mostly single mothers. “We take this into account for face-to-face meetings which never take place before 9 a.m.”, confides Nathalie Luccioni. But also solopreneurs like Anna Darmenia, consultant in development strategy for entrepreneurs, who “loves networking and who joined Pouvoir d’Entreprendre because it is local, national and international at the same time”.
Aline Mazenot has not yet created her own business but the future digital assistant appreciates the trust and kindness that reigns in the exchanges. “We are among women and we share the same problems”she whispers.
In video and in person
Created in Brittany in 2021, the Pouvoir d’Entreprendre business network has just arrived in Nice.
Directed by Nathalie Luccioni, it offers two face-to-face meetings per month (networking and personal development) in addition to the national video meetings: professional and personal development workshops, Business Café (exchange of good processes and business), Coworking ( to develop prospects inside and outside the network) and Mastermind which dissects the economic model of the participants. Not forgetting collective mentoring, individual action plans, training, etc. These meetings are available in replay.
