Poultry farming: FISA is exploring new avenues of cooperation with Mali

FISA meeting with the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Mali, in the presence of the Moroccan Ambassador to Mali.

Salon : On the sidelines of SIV-Mali, FISA held 3 working sessions. The discussions focused on the development of the poultry sector, the strengthening of economic relations between Morocco and Mali and the exploration of opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation.

Honorable participation of Morocco in the first edition of the International Poultry Show (SIV-Mali 2024). The Kingdom was represented at this event by the Interprofessional Federation of the Poultry Sector in Morocco (FISA). This event organized by the Federation of stakeholders in the poultry sector of Mali (FIFAM) from October 19 to 21 in Bamako dealt with the role of the poultry sector, as a factor in strengthening sovereignty and food and nutritional security. “The participation of FISA in SIV-Mali 2024 marks a key step in strengthening relations between Morocco and Mali, while opening the way to new perspectives for the development of the poultry sector in Africa,” we learn in this meaning.
On the sidelines of the show, FISA held 3 working sessions.

The first took place with the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries. The second session took place with the Minister of Industry and Commerce and the last with representatives of the National Employers’ Council of Mali (CNPM). The discussions focused on the development of the poultry sector, the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries and the exploration of opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation. At the end of this mission, Youssef Alaoui, president of FISA and the CGEM parliamentary group, was received in audience by Lieutenant General Malick Diaw, president of the National Transitional Council of the Republic of Mali . It should be noted that throughout the show, the FISA stand was the place for meetings and exchanges between members of the Moroccan delegation and Malian professionals.

Both parties are determined to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities to further strengthen the Morocco-Mali partnership and promote the development of poultry farming, a guarantee of food security for the African continent. FISA also welcomed on its stand the official Malian delegation, chaired by the Minister of State, Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, accompanied by several ministers, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Mali and representatives Malian authorities.
