INTERNATIONAL Golo Mori Jazz 2024 has officially been postponed until early 2025. This decision was taken due to the impact of the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki, which is located in Wulanggitang District, East Flores.
Regarding the line up list which is scheduled to appear on November 16 2024 at the Golo Mori Convention Center (GMCC) West Manggarai, NTT, the Main Director of Jazz Gunung Indonesia, Bagas Indyatmono, said that his party had discussed with the musicians and they expressed their commitment to continuing the International Golo Mori event Jazz.
“So we just have to set a new date, hopefully nothing changes. “Even if it changes, maybe there will be additions,” said Bagas at a press conference, Monday (11/11).

Even though 85 percent of the tickets had been sold, the party was forced to postpone the holding of the 2024 International Golo Mori Jazz because it was deemed inappropriate to hold it amidst an atmosphere of concern and sorrow for the victims of the Mount Lewotobi Laki eruption. It predicts the event will take place in the first quarter of 2025.
Bagas also said that he would provide something different at the upcoming International Golo Mori Jazz 2025. However, he admitted that he still needed time to discuss what concept he would use later.
“There will definitely be adjustments related to that. “We are postponing today for humanitarian reasons and of course we will continue this event and we will provide something different from this year,” he concluded. (Nov)
