Postbank and DKB affected: Customers report nasty scams

Postbank customers also have to be careful with e-mails at the moment. Here, the criminals ask you to confirm your data. This is necessary to continue using your account. They also issue a fake ultimatum to keep you under pressure. After 14 days, a fee of almost 80 euros should be incurred if you do not follow the request.

With both scams, you should under no circumstances click on links or buttons in the mail. Behind it are forms whose entries end up directly with the criminals. Instead, you should move the emails to the spam folder.

If you are not sure whether your DKB or Postbank account has actually been restricted, only register via the official website of the provider or in the associated apps. There you will be informed of any discrepancies.
