Post Malone receives rave reviews

Taylor Swift (34) and Post Malone (29) have released one of the biggest hits of the year, titled “Fortnight”. The song reached number one on the Billboard Global 200 and broke a streaming record on Spotify one day after its release. With eight nominations, “Fortnight” is a serious contender for the MTV Video Music Awards. Swift paid tribute to her colleague on Instagram.

On August 17, Swift shared the link to Post Malone’s album “F-1 Trillion” on her account. She said that her brother Austin Swift, 32, played her the album’s music while filming the music video for “Fortnight.” Swift said, “I got to hear this incredible music on the set of ‘Fortnight’ when Austin introduced me to it. It’s mind-blowing how diverse his art is.” She also called the rapper “the most authentic person in the world.”

London concert, no collaboration with Post Malone

Just before her “The Eras Tour” concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, Swift posted a message. Fans were expecting Post Malone to join her for the performance of “Fortnight.” The presence of a typewriter symbol on the London concert poster only fueled that excitement, as a similar prop appears in Swift and Malone’s video.

Swift is known for hiding messages from her fans, but this time, fans were left in the dark. She performed “Fortnight” solo, without surprise guests like the night before with Ed Sheeran (33).

Another fan theory also didn’t pan out at the concert. Swifties thought that Swift might be announcing her re-recorded album “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” due to a new look, but there was no announcement regarding this.

Despite the excitement, Taylor Swift performed “Fortnight” solo at her London concert, missing out on the anticipated collaboration with Post Malone. Fans were hoping that the single “Single” from her re-recorded album “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” would debut at the concert, but it went unperformed, leaving the audience eager for what surprises to come.
