Ashfall is an action-adventure third-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world scorched by a nuclear war started by a crazed artificial intelligence.
The remnants of humanity that managed to survive are fighting each other for supplies that are melting before our eyes. However, rumors suddenly appear about a certain “Core of the Universe” that can heal the destroyed earth. Players have to leave the safe haven and go in search of ways to save humanity.
The combat system of the game focuses on the use of cover and team tactics. But battles are only part of the gameplay, because in Ashfall we have a huge world to explore and find secrets, with many quests and colorful NPCs.
The Ashfall developers have already named the composers who were involved in the creation of the game’s soundtrack. These are legendary names: Inon Tzur (Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Siberia II) and Hans Zimmer (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Crysis 2).
