PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) or Pos IND, is once more organizing the distribution of basic food and PKH social assistance in several locations, including South Tangerang (Tangsel), Banten.

This distribution was recorded as taking place at the KC Pondok Aren Post Office, South Tangerang, which will allocate aid to 2,088 beneficiary families (KPM).

“The number of KPM at the Tangsel Post Office is 2,088. Currently, we have distributed around 93% of that amount. We will complete the rest according to the deadline set,” said Galang Budi Mulyo, Executive Manager of the Tangsel KC Post Office.

The distribution process at the KC Pondok Aren Post Office is carried out using two methods, namely direct distribution at the post office and delivery directly to the KPM’s house (door to door).

“We implemented two distribution patterns, namely through community meetings at the post office and direct delivery to KPM homes. We specifically went to the homes of KPMs who were elderly, sick, had disabilities, or had difficulty coming to the post office,” explained Galang.

Every KPM who will receive assistance is required to bring an invitation letter and identity document in the form of KTP or KK.

“We give notification letters to KPMs, which they must bring during distribution along with personal identification such as KTP and KK if the person coming is not the KPM or is represented by another household member,” added Galang.

In this distribution, each KPM received basic food assistance in the form of cash amounting to IDR 200 thousand per month, with distribution three months at a time, so that the total assistance received by KPM reached IDR 600 thousand.

“We hope that the distribution of basic food aid and PKH can continue. Hopefully this effort can help reduce the level of poverty in Indonesia,” said Galang.

The reaction from KPM who have received basic food assistance and PKH is very positive. They feel grateful because the government still pays attention to those in the lower classes of society.

One of the KPM, Herlina, expressed her joy because the aid was delivered directly to her house by postal officers.

“Thank God, this time the aid came directly to my house. Usually I have to go to the post office to pick it up. The aid I received totaled IDR 1,425,000, with details of IDR 600 thousand for basic necessities and IDR 825 thousand for PKH,” said Herlina.

A middle-aged woman who works as a mobile drinks seller feels very helped by the help she receives.

“This assistance is very useful for me and my family, for daily needs and children’s education costs. I hope that the distribution of aid will be better and more targeted. For now, I feel very helped,” he said.

Herlina expressed her gratitude to Pos Indonesia as an aid distributor from the Ministry of Social Affairs for the assistance provided.

“Thank you to PT Pos Indonesia for its assistance, which has made the process of distributing aid from the Ministry of Social Affairs easier. I would also like to thank the Ministry of Social Affairs, hopefully it will be better in the future,” he added.

Another KPM, Sudiman, stated that the process of collecting basic food assistance at the post office went smoothly without any deductions.

“The collection of basic food assistance at the post office went smoothly and without deductions. The assistance was in the form of cash amounting to IDR 200 thousand per month. I will use this money to pay my children’s school fees so they can take exams,” said Sudiman.

The assistance he received really helped ease his family’s economic burden.

“This assistance is really useful for my family. Thank you to Pos Indonesia and the Ministry of Social Affairs for helping us. Hopefully this program will continue,” he added.

Another recipient of aid, Mahendra, also felt grateful for the government’s attention. He plans to use the aid funds to pay his children’s school fees and meet their daily living needs.

“Today’s distribution process went smoothly. I will use these aid funds for school fees for my child who is still in elementary school. This aid really helped me. I received a total of IDR 1.1 million for basic food assistance and PKH,” said Mahendra, who works as a trader. mobile coffee.
