Portuguese cooperation opens tender for financing small projects – news

The Portuguese Cooperation Centre, in Luanda, is open for registration for the tender for the submission of proposals to the Small Projects Fund, whose funding must be evaluated between 1,500,000.00 kz (one million five hundred thousand kwanzas) and 3,500. 000.00 kz (three million five hundred thousand kwanzas) and must be allocated to the Education and Health sectors.

The aim is to respond to initiatives that, due to their nature and small size in budgetary terms, are not considered for other types of institutionalized support within the framework of Portuguese cooperation or other development partners.

According to the statement sent to the Kianda’s mailactions must be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030), to contribute to minimizing needs in the social domain, in particular, in the Health and Education sectors.

Local civil society organizations are eligible for the tender and the duration of the proposal should not exceed the implementation period of one year. Meanwhile, Camões – Portuguese Cooperation Centre, warns that the project proposals to be presented will be evaluated according to their relevance, impact, sustainability, geographic location, visibility and attracting other partnerships that contribute to reinforce the implementation of the action/ project.

Applications can be submitted, until January 20, 2023, to the email address provided by the organization ([email protected]) with the subject “Submission of a proposal to the 2022 Small Projects Fund”. A Presentation of the Proposing Entity and a recent Activity Report must be sent, in addition to the Application Form, available at the link
