What a triumph it was yesterday for Michael Smith. In Alexandra Palace in London he grabbed the scalp of top favorite Michael van Gerwen, following which an almost sleepless night followed. Because: the brand new darts world champion never gets tired of his hard-fought trophy, which came following, among other things, a phenomenal nine-dart finish. I think I’ve watched it a million times already.
