A woman was brutally attacked by a dog pitbull breed while exercising in the streets of Portland, Oregon. Despite the fact that the animal was with its owner, he did nothing to stop the aggression, so the victim ended up with multiple injuries all over his body. This case had a history, with others affected in past weeks. After several processes, the authorities confiscated the dog and owner is expected to face charges.
Cheryl Walker told the American channel KPTV that the event occurred in April, without specifying the day, when he was jogging through his neighborhood. The dog, which was off leash, approached her and bit her repeatedly: He threw her to the ground and wouldn’t let go. Only when a passing motorist honked his horn the animal moved away and she was able to get up.
The owner, identified as Jessie Miller, did not act on her pet’s attitude, even when she was across the street.
