Portal Emplea Py allowed more than 35,000 job intermediations in the first year of government

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The EmpleaPy platform, launched in November 2023, has become a key tool for the effective connection between workers and companies, promoting the creation of quality jobs by enabling more than 35,000 job intermediations.

The technological tool has simplified the connection between employers and job seekers throughout the country.

Since its launch, the portal has registered 73,729 users, of which approximately 24% have applied for at least one job vacancy.

This figure reflects the positive impact of the platform in improving job accessibility, especially in areas where this need is most critical.

With this portal, within the framework of public employment policy, the National Government, through the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MTESS) and the support of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC), has taken a crucial step towards modernizing access to employment.

Strong support was also given to entrepreneurship as a generator of income opportunities for families.

The portal has not only benefited individuals, but has also contributed to the strength of the local economy and the sustainable development of the country.

Through EmpleaPy, job seekers can register their skills, knowledge and experiences, allowing employers to identify and hire the most suitable candidates for their needs.

So far, 352 companies have registered on the platform, thanks to a systematic effort of contact and technical visits by the MTESS to present the benefits of the tool.

These companies have registered a total of 15,245 job vacancies between August 2023 and June 2024, which represents an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year.

Of the 35,032 job placements carried out through EmpleaPy, 16,011 have benefited women and 19,021 men.

Strong support for entrepreneurs

Between August 2023 and June 2024, through the Entrepreneur Training Center (CEE), the MTESS trained 9,866 entrepreneurs in the first year of Government, improving their skills and knowledge to face market challenges.

In addition, 396 entrepreneurs managed to formalize their businesses, taking a crucial step towards legality and access to benefits and growth opportunities. This formalization process not only allows them to operate within the legal framework, but also opens doors to access financing, corporate clients and greater business stability.

The organization of 1,042 fairs nationwide was also promoted, where entrepreneurs had the opportunity to exhibit and sell their products. In terms of financial results, sales generated during this period totaled G 1,092,613,000, which demonstrates the direct impact of these initiatives on the local economy and on improving the quality of life of the participating entrepreneurs.
