The car brand has teamed up with the designer of alternative universes to create a Taycan intimately linked to the world of art. A project that incorporates the film series No Passengers of Porsche imagined with the Soho House.
Flashy colors for its electric sedan. After Mac Collins and the twin brothers Steve and Nick Tidball, Porsche got closer to the artist Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanianwhich like its two predecessors, is part of Soho House.
This entity aims to connect and bring together a plurality of people, such as artists, within hotels, studios and accommodation. Result of this new collaboration,? This ultra-colorful electric Taycan with a handmade fluorescent marbling pattern.
A marbled and fluorescent Taycan
Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanianthe “designer of extreme experiences” as she describes herself in the film No Passengers, worked in the space industry. The latter notably directs the International Space Orchestra and officiated at the SETI Institute, while engaging in education and awareness.
“For the last part of the series No Passengersproduced by Porsche, we have moved from the analog and digital formats of the previous two films to the pinnacle of film technology and the ultra-digital world of virtual production – Danny Chan, Director of Film & Motion at Soho House” , explains the filmmaker.
Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian thus focused her reflection on “texture and colors”. “If you think regarding how the universe formed, shaped and existed, nothing is linear.” A vision that greatly influenced his work for Porsche.
With a handmade fluorescent marbling pattern, the motorist’s 100% electric Taycan model gives pride of place to bright colors and drives, in the episode, towards an alternative 3D world with a psychedelic and enchanting spirit. Guaranteed artistic journey.
No Passengers
Last year, Soho House et Porsche were already teaming up to encourage the next generation of creators. From this vision was born No Passengersa joint initiative that includes films, collaborative projects, conferences and workshops.
The automobile brand then relied on this collective to get involved in the heart of the universe of certain artistic visionaries, while Soho House was able to count on the support of Porsche to continue to promote these artistes, such as at the Soho Farmhouse Hotel Food Festival in the UK. The brand had already carried out two collaborations with Mac Collins and the twin brothers Steve and Nick Tidball. This ultra-colorful Taycan completes this trilogy with Soho House.
