The health bureau issued a press release stating that three businesses that did not declare the origin of pork used pork imported from Canada and the United States. The other four businesses were involved in labeling pork originating in Taiwan as imported from Spain and Canada, or labeling pork imported from Canada as Taiwan. .

The Health Bureau said that businesses that fail to declare the origin of pork raw materials will be fined not less than NT$30,000 but not more than NT$3 million for violating the Food Safety Law; those who make false statements will be fined not less than NT$40,000 but not more than NT$4 million for violating the same law.锾.

The Health Bureau stated that it also targeted two companies, “Xinxing Freeze” and “Ruiteng International”, for falsely labeling the origin of pork in violation of regulations. They had shipped to 54 restaurants in the lower reaches of New Taipei City. After inspection, there were no cases of meat with illegal batch numbers in any of the sites. , following detailed inspection and comparison of information, it was found that these operators did not know the information and were victims of false origin labelling, so the list of operators and other information was not announced.
