The Vatican Press Office convened a press conference on the gathering of God’s people called “Together” and the evening prayer meeting in St. Peter’s Square led by Pope Francis. The Holy See will release information on both initiatives on Friday, September 8.
The ecumenical evening prayer meeting will be held at the Vatican under the leadership of the Holy Father before the sixteenth ordinary general assembly of the Synod of Bishops. The meeting of the Synod of Bishops will be held from October 4th to 29th.
The press conference on Friday, September 8, 2023, will be attended by Paolo Ruffini, President of the Vatican Dicastery for Communications and President of the Commission for the Information of the Sixteenth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, Sister Nathalie Beycart, Undersecretary of the General Secretariat of the Synod, and Brother Mathieu of the Thyese community.
