Pope Francis confirmed on Monday, June 24, that he has already signed the canonization of Blessed José Gregorio Hernández, referred to as the physician of the poor.
“I’m going to canonize the physician. I do not know when, however I already signed,” the Pope stated in a video revealed in X by journalist Ana Rodríguez Brazón, correspondent for the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo.
