On the 17th of July, Pope Francis received at the Vatican on the 17th of July, around one hundred and fifty pilgrims belonging to the “Light and Life” community of the organization “Oasis of Living Church” who came to Rome for meditation led by Cardinal-designate Archbishop Gregores Rysz of the Diocese of Lodz, Poland. The fact that most of the members are young people gives a lot of example and hope to the modern world

The meditation started in Rome on July 15th. The members of the organization “Oasis of Living Church” are those who serve with great interest in spiritual matters in the parishes. Members of this organization work hard to bring people from different parts of Poland together and lead them to Christian reformation.

The founder of this community is Fr. Franciszek Blakniski, who lost his life in the terror of the communist regime in Poland in 1987. In this meditation organized for the youth and their family members, the visit to the heart of the Catholic Church and the meeting with the Pope were two very important elements.

The members of the “Oasis of Living Church” organization come together frequently to learn different prayers, understand different cultures, and visit many places of pilgrimage, which reveals the uniqueness of the community.
