In their study, they examined the sleep behavior of over 5,000 participants who suffered from fatty liver disease. In addition, it was then checked whether and to what extent the risk factor of obesity has an amplifying effect. The researchers wanted to find out whether obesity had an impact on the observed effects on sleep quality.
