Poolers: Players to target for February 26 matches

FORWARDERS

Matias MaccelliARI (vs NSH) – The Coyotes forward has collected at least one point in his last three games for a total of one goal and three assists. Maccelli is the Coyotes’ second-leading passer (25) and fourth-leading scorer (29) in 40 games this season. The Coyotes are visited by the Nashville Predators, who are the sixth worst team in the NHL in terms of shots allowed per game (33.7).

Tommy NovakNSH (vs ARI) — The Predators forward has eight points (four goals, four assists) in his last four games while being used at the center of the first line and on the first wave of the power play with Matt Duchene, Mikael Granlund et Roman Josie. The Predators have scored 11 goals in their last two games and are up once morest the Coyotes, who allow an average of 3.48 goals per game (t-24).

DEFENDER

Rasmus SandinTOR (vs SEA) – The young Maple Leafs defenseman will be back following a three-game absence (shoulder). Before his injury, Sandin had four points (two goals, two assists) in two games, maintaining a plus-5 differential and shooting six times. He faces the Seattle Kraken, who have lost six of their last nine games.

GUARDIAN

Marc-André Fleury, MIN (vs CBJ) – The Wild goaltender posted a 30-save shutout once morest those same Blue Jackets on Thursday, helping him bounce back from a three-game losing streak. The Blue Jackets will be in their second game in as many days and are in last place in the Eastern Conference. The Wild have amassed at least one point in four of their last five games (4-0-1).
