Methodology

In order to carry out the Best Plan Award, data from internet speed tests carried out between January and November 2022 on the My Connection website were used. More than 24.8 million tests were analyzed, considering download, upload and latency speeds, and 1,175,587 evaluations of user satisfaction with their providers throughout the year and through popular voting.
Only providers with a minimum of 1,000 speed tests and at least 3% of the test sample in the evaluated region participated in the award. In addition, each city needed at least 3,000 speed tests throughout 2022. Therefore, only 2,573 of the 5,568 Brazilian municipalities participated in the survey.
