Polls show Marcos Jr. lead in elections President of the Philippines
A poll of the people of the Philippines on the popular vote for the new presidential candidate shows that Ferdinand Marcos Jr., son of former president Ferdinand Marcos, has the lead over his opponents.
A recent poll asked regarding 2,400 people who would choose their first choice in the elections for the new president and vice president of the Philippines. 60% of respondents said they would choose Marcos Jr, while only 16 percent said they would choose Leni Robredo, the current vice president.
Previously in December The questionnaire was conducted with an equal number of samples, at which time Marcos Jr. had a support of 53%, while Robredo had a 20% supporter.
Mani Pacquiao, a favorite Filipino boxer and Francisco Momagoso, Governor of Manila. Each received 8% of support, followed by Pansilo Lacson, the Philippines senator at 4%.
