At the end of his stay in Bumba, in the Mongala Province, Senator Jean-Pierre Lihau headed for the city of Lisala, the provincial capital. Arriving this Friday, May 17, 2024, Jean-Pierre Lihau addressed the large population who came to welcome him and listen to him in front of the esplanade of the governorate.
During his speech, the elected Senator of Mongala expressed his gratitude to the provincial deputies for his election to the senatorial in the Province of Mongala. And for having massively elected the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo in the December 2023 elections with an overwhelming parliamentary majority, Jean-Pierre Lihau said he was grateful to the population of the Province of Mongala made up of three territories, including Lisala, Bumba and Bongandanga.
Insisting on the need to turn the page on elections to focus collectively on the development of Mongala, Jean-Pierre Lihau preached living together in unity between the sons and daughters of this province in order to combine efforts aimed at the emergence of the province resulting from the dismemberment of the Greater Equator.
“We have finished the elections, now it is time for us to build the province together. We have one common home, the Province of Mongala,” he stressed.
In Bumba as in Lisala, under the banner of a single common entity (Mongala Province), Senator Lihau’s message highlights the idea that leadership, according to him, is defined by service to others and to the population. To establish a new dynamic for the benefit of the population, he stressed the urgent need to coordinate the efforts of each person in order to restore the image of the province.
Senator Jean-Pierre Lihau demonstrated the need for each person with a portion of responsibility in this province to work selflessly to contribute to the development of this area, the breadbasket of the Republic, according to the vision of the President of the Republic, Head of State, aiming for development at the grassroots.
