Politics: Archbishop Kutino Fernando urges President Félix Tshisekedi to show firmness towards his entourage.

After fifteen years of silence about the politics of his country, the DRC – Democratic Republic of Congo -, Archbishop Kutino Fernando, creator of the concept “Save the Congo” against the Kabila regime, called on the Congolese to help the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi.

Through a program broadcast on the YouTube channel “CONGO LEADER TV”, the man of God made it known that the current President of the Republic is a man that Heaven has placed at the head of the country, to put an end to the Machiavellian plan of the enemies of the DRC.

This man, known for his courage and frankness, stressed that if he were close to the President, he would have asked him to be very tough with his entourage. Because, according to him, the fall of the late Marshal Mobutu says a lot about friends and family.

“Personally, I do not know President Félix Tshisekedi. But seeing him, I can say that he is a good person. I invite the Congolese to help him, to accompany him and not to stress him,” he said.

And he added: “If I were close to him, as an advisor, I would ask him to be tough on those around him. Because family and friends are the ones who quickly leave the boat, in the event of a fall. Being in the corridor of the late Marshal Mobutu, I experienced a lot of things.”

The initiator of the concept “Let’s Save the Congo” also expressed his regret over the intolerance he suffered during the past regime. This intolerance cost him ten years in prison at the CPRK – Kinshasa Penitentiary and Re-education Center -, formerly the central prison of Makala.

He took the opportunity to seek compensation from the Congolese government for all the personal and church property he lost, while also requesting that his medical care be covered.
