Several Malian political groups were outraged by the junta’s decision to postpone the presidential election indefinitely, supposed to bring civilians back to power. The authorities announced on Monday a new postponement, “slight” according to them, of the presidential election initially scheduled for February 2024. They have not set new dates. The north of the country is facing renewed fighting between the army and the Permanent Strategic Framework (CSP). To talk about it, Mohamed Maïga, Sahel analyst.

During a press conference, the Prime Minister of the Gabonese transition Raymond Ndong Sima announced the holding of an inclusive dialogue to discuss a road map which will also determine the duration of the military transition.

We know the future host countries of CAN 2025 and 2027. Morocco will therefore organize the next African Cup of Nations. And for the first time three countries will co-organize the continent’s most important competition. It will be Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania who will be in charge in four years.
