Emergency Response Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon introduced Commissioner Min Kyung-woo as “a person who will set politics straight.”

However, following remarks that might be interpreted as ‘degrading the elderly’ and ‘advocating Japanese imperialism’, it was further confirmed that he had insulted the families of the victims of the Itaewon disaster in the past.
