A village in Poland has offered a reward to married couples who will be the first to have a son.
A small village in southern Poland, Meske Arzynski, has a negligible male birth rate and has not had any babies for the past 9 years. The population of this village consists of about 300 inhabitants, most of whom are women and girls.
The last boy born in the Polish village is now 12 years old and still lives in the same village. The head of the fire brigade in the village says that we have only women in our entire staff.
He further said that I came to this village and married a girl from here after which I have 2 daughters and I wish to have a son but now it seems impossible. Our neighboring house also has only 2 girls, it seems to me that women in this village do not have the germs to produce sons.
The village’s mayor, Furschko, says that he is looking at data on the rate of male births in the past and is also trying to figure out why this is happening. He further said that the first boy born to the couple in this village will be awarded. He said that he cannot tell what will happen in the prize, but it is certain that the prize will be very good.
