Polish President: Warsaw’s EU presidency will be held under the slogan “More America in Europe”

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that his country will adopt a special resolution in May so that Warsaw’s EU presidency, scheduled for 2025, will be held under the slogan of strengthening ties between Europe and the United States.

“More America in Europe, stronger EU-US ties, more cooperation between the EU and the US on economic and security issues,” said Duda (quoted by RIA Novosti).

Earlier today, on February 21, US President Joe Biden arrived in Poland. In addition to the bilateral meeting with Mr. Duda, the American president will also meet with the leaders of the Bucharest Nine countries, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and the staff of the US Embassy in Warsaw.

It is expected that the head of the White House will make a speech in Warsaw, which, according to representatives of the American administration, will also be addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people.
