Polish President Denies Accusations He Conspired With Zelensky To Undermine Nord Stream

“I considered the statements of the former head of the German foreign intelligence service regarding… [تفجير خطوط أنابيب الغاز] Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 are politically ridiculous.”

On August 15, Hanning told Die Welt that Zelensky and Duda had probably agreed to undermine the Nord Stream pipelines, because this terrorist attack could not have been a private initiative.

Earlier, German media reported that a Ukrainian diving instructor wanted by German authorities in the case of the gas pipeline bombings fled Poland in a car from the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw.

Germany sent Poland an arrest warrant for the suspect, but the Polish prosecutor’s office failed to act on the case.

In March 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the idea that the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream pipelines was carried out by some Ukrainian amateur divers as complete nonsense, and the Russian president noted that an explosion at such a depth “could only be carried out by specialists, supported by all the power of the state, which has certain technologies.”

On February 8, 2023, American journalist Seymour Hersh, citing a source, said that explosive devices under gas pipelines were planted in June 2022 under the cover of NATO’s Baltops exercises by US Navy divers with the support of Norwegian specialists.

On September 26, 2022, explosions occurred in the Nord Stream 2 and Nord Stream gas pipelines, which resulted in the cessation of Russian gas flows to Germany via the two pipelines. The Russian Public Prosecution Office opened a criminal case to investigate the incident in accordance with Article “International Terrorist Act” of the Russian Criminal Code.
