The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland recommended that compatriots leave the territory of Belarus. This is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the diplomatic department on Monday, October 10.
“Citizens of the Polish Republic who are on the territory of the Republic of Belarus are advised to leave it by commercial and private means,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Poles are advised not to travel to a neighboring country.
“Due to the growing tension, military events in the region, as well as repeated cases of arrests of Polish citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not recommend Polish citizens to make any trips to the Republic of Belarus,” the ministry added.
