Thiruvananthapuram ∙ AIG reinstated the suspended officer of Telecommunication SP on the same day. Gunman Akash was suspended by SP: Navneet Sharma IPS on the grounds of trespassing at his residence. After being convinced that the action was wrong, the AIG of the police headquarters, Anoop Kuruvila John, reinstated the policeman.

The SP lives in the police quarters. Two gunmen from telecommunication and AR department are with the SP. Akash was called to the quarters by the SP’s staff on Sunday. When Koran mentioned the dog excrement, Akash sat in the gunmen’s restroom saying it was none of his business.
