Police uncover synthetic drug laboratory in Lichtaert, Antwerp: Three arrested

The police discovered on Friday a synthetic drug laboratory in a shed located in Lichtaert, in the province of Antwerp. The exact nature of the products produced is still under investigation. Three people were arrested on the spot.

“These are three men aged 58, 36 and 28, from Central and South America. They have since been brought before the investigating judge, who decided to place them in detention. They will appear before the council chamber on Tuesday,” said Stéphanie Chomé of the Antwerp prosecutor’s office.
