Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf says that the party’s spokesperson Rauf Hassan will be arrested from the central secretariat of the party in Islamabad. Confirmed that Barrister Gauhar has been released but Rauf Hasan remains in custody.

Several videos are circulating on social media in which a heavy contingent of police personnel can be seen outside the PTI office.
In the light of preliminary investigation and digital content, PTI’s digital media wing was raided by Islamabad Police and FIA team.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Islamabad Police has arrested Rauf Hasan as well as PTI Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua.
Spokesperson of Ministry of Interior said that PTI is involved in anti-state propaganda, JIT is being formed.
A heavy contingent of Islamabad police along with ATS squad and lady police reached the PTI central secretariat, barrister Gohar and Rauf Hassan were present in the secretariat at that time while women police were also present outside the PTI secretariat.

On the other hand, PTI leader Senator Shibli Faraz confirmed the detention of PTI leaders and said that the police have arrested Barrister Gauhar and Rauf Hassan.

During the raid, the police also seized computers and other equipment from the PTI secretariat, while the police also took away all the records.
