Police Raid Marunathan Malayali Online Channel’s Office in Thiruvananthapuram: Latest News and Updates

Thiruvananthapuram: Marunathan Malayali online channel’s Thiruvananthapuram office raided by police. The police seized all the computers in the office of the channel in Pattulla. Kochi police seized 29 computers, cameras and laptops.

The raid took place at 12 midnight. The police have seized the laptops of all the employees. The midnight action was directed to the employees not to enter the establishment. In many parts of the state, the police are continuing to check the offices and employees’ homes of foreign Malayalis.

At the same time, the police said that the head of the channel, Shajan Skaria, has not been found yet. Kochi Police stated that the search for him is going on. Kochi City Police’s action is on account of defamatory remarks made once morest MLA PV Srinijan.

A case has been registered in the incident under the SC-ST Prevention of Atrocities Act. Shajan tried for anticipatory bail in the case, but the court rejected the plea.
