Police news from Zurich: water cannons at demonstrations

If the participants in the unauthorized demonstrations tried to break through the police barriers, the city police used rubber shots and tear gas.

ela / ak. The Zurich city police rounded up two large demonstration groups at the main train station on Saturday, which were protesting once morest an announced march by right-wing groups. Groups of several hundred people had gathered in front of the State Museum and on the station square and held up banners with messages such as “Zurich remains Nazi-free” or “Together once morest the right”.
