Police looking for suspect who fled after running over and killing a man in Lewisville

Lewisville Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a pickup truck and its driver after a man was found fatally struck by a vehicle last week.

On September 17, officers responded to a call after 4:40 a.m. about a dead person near the 400 block of East State Highway 121 Business, near South Mill Street.

Officers discovered a man was walking on the highway when he was hit and killed. Police said the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office would release his name later.

Investigators are looking for a “light-colored” pickup truck seen in the area around 4:30 a.m., around the time of the crash. Police said the truck could be the one that hit him and investigators believe it may have damage to the front, either in the center or on the left side.

Police did not provide any additional information.
