At the request of the Liège public prosecutor’s office, the police are asking to broadcast the following notice.
The police broadcast on Friday, at the request of the Liège public prosecutor’s office, a wanted notice to find Fatma B., 38 years old. The latter had disappeared Thursday with her five-year-old son, whose body was discovered Friday morning in the Meuse in Lixhe (Visé).
Thursday evening around 8:30 p.m., Fatma B. left her home located rue du Panorama in Oupeye and has not appeared since. His vehicle, a white Suzuki Alto from 2010, was found on the quay of the Meuse in Visé, near the polyclinic of Hermalle-sous-Argenteau. Friday morning, the body of his son was found upstream of the Lixhe dam bridge and was taken out of the water by divers from the Liège fire department. The Liège public prosecutor’s office descended on the scene. An investigation was opened and the file was put under investigation.
According to the notice issued by the police, Fatma B. is 1m54 tall, has a slim build, shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long black K-Way type jacket, light blue jeans pants and white and black “Adidas” sneakers.
