Two people were injured when a police helicopter went out of control during a training flight and fell into the river. The incident took place in Balaton, Hungary. The footage of the helicopter losing control while flying over the river and circling three or four times before crashing into the water has gone viral on social media. The copter hit the water and slowly sank. The copter crashed regarding three hundred meters from the coast.
The authorities stated that the two policemen inside the copter suffered minor injuries. The rescue team on the shore immediately came to the boats and rescued the policemen. Both were admitted to the hospital. The police informed that the cause of the accident is not clear and the investigation into the incident is in progress.
