The fire occurred at 11:46 pm on the 5th at the construction site of a new frozen warehouse in Goryeom-ri, Cheongbuk-eup, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The fire department issued the first stage of response and put out the big fire at 6:32 a.m. the next day, but the extinguished embers suddenly spread once more, and three firefighters who were put on the second floor of the building were isolated and found dead.
The fire was completely extinguished at 7:19 pm on the 6th, 19 hours later.
