The police were called to Bristol’s famous suspension bridge around midnight because a man with a suitcase was behaving strangely. When they arrived ten minutes later, he had gone and left the luggage behind.
The second suitcase was then discovered nearby. The police are now searching for the man who, according to initial investigations, drove to the Clifton Suspension Bridge in a taxi. “The vehicle has been impounded and the driver is helping us with our investigations,” the police said. The search for the suspect and the identification of the remains are the top priority.
