A chase followed through Koekelberg and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. Police teams from Brussels-West (Jette/Ganshoren/Koekelberg/Molenbeek-Saint-Jean/Berchem-Sainte-Agathe) also took part.

“After a second interception of the suspect vehicle, the driver once more managed to flee, hitting several police vehicles. At the same time, a police inspector fired several shots in the direction of the fleeing vehicle. The driver was finally able to be intercepted and deprived of his liberty”, concluded Mr. Vandevelde.
