Police Busts Cocaine and Heroin Deal in Marchienne-au-Pont: Arrests Made and Sentences Handed Out

In early May, a police patrol deployed in the field noticed a suspicious car in Marchienne-au-Pont. “A street deal is noticed. The customer is questioned and explains that she has been getting supplies from the seller for a few months. The man in question is joined by two other individuals, who came out of a building“, explains the substitute Signor, of the parquet floor of Charleroi.

Inside the car, Hamza, Abdelkader and Amine are checked. The first two immediately confirm that they sell cocaine and heroin. In the building spotted by the police, the search made it possible to seize a few other grams of cocaine and heroin. We are far from the “big dealers of Charleroi”, but that is enough to bring the two men to justice.

Hamza and Abdelkader are sentenced to two years in prison with a simple reprieve of five years.

In the wrong place, at the wrong time

Also in the car, Amine swears that the drugs discovered in the passenger compartment do not belong to him and that he was “in the wrong place at the wrong time” when he simply wanted to be driven home.

Amine is however condemned, too. And even more heavily punished than his two companions. Indeed, he had just been released from prison at the time of his arrest. He is therefore no longer entitled to a suspended sentence and will return to a cell for two years.
