Polianzoátegui captured an alleged criminal accused of stealing a phone in Píritu

Officials from the Anzoátegui State Police (Polianzoátegui) captured Jesús Alejandro López, 19, who was accused by a citizen of stealing his cell phone.

The general director of the state police, chief commissioner Power Cano Nieto, reported that the arrest was carried out on the night of last Wednesday, March 15, in the Los Apamates sector of the aforementioned town.

He added that in the procedure they seized a ZTE brand device that the victim identified as his. López also had a non-industrialized weapon confiscated and his case was brought to the attention of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP).

Arrested in the south zone

José Gregorio Fernández González (50) was detained by Polianzoátegui troops in the Casco Viejo sector of El Tigre, following the uniformed officers received an alert regarding his presence in the area.

Apparently, Fernández González is one of the 10 most wanted criminals in the state of Nueva Esparta and allegedly has a judicial request for femicide.
