Here we leave you the experience of a driver who bought a Polestar instead of buying a Tesla. Bad option!!
I’ve been driving the Polestar 2 so far for regarding 2000 miles. This car is not worth its price.
It feels worse than a Toyota Corolla inside. After covering a distance of approximately 2,000 miles in the Polestar 2, I have formed some opinions regarding the vehicle. While I recognize its price, I must admit that I expected more from this car.
Compared to the interior of a Toyota Corolla, the Polestar 2 falls short in terms of comfort and functionality.
Surprisingly, despite having a starting price of around $50,000, the driver’s seat lacks full lumbar support, causing discomfort and back pain during long drives.
The inability to adjust the position of the seat back further aggravates this problem.
Another aspect that left me disappointed was the design of the cup holders on the center console. They appear poorly executed and do not effectively serve their intended purpose.
Additionally, the black cloth lining on the sides of the console proved to be annoying as it constantly scraped my right knee upon entering the vehicle, resulting in slight marks on the cloth from my scraped skin.
The Polestar 2’s infotainment system also did not meet my expectations. It lacks the features one would expect in a vehicle in this price range, leaving it somewhat lackluster. I found myself wanting more functionality and convenience from the system.
In terms of driving experience, I must say that the Polestar 2 did not live up to my expectations.
Safety features like lane assist and obstacle avoidance unnerved me more than they reassured me. On several occasions, the lane assist system unexpectedly attempted to run me off the road, creating an unsettling experience.
Additionally, in wet road conditions, the car showed a tendency to drift out of the lane, assuming I was not properly in it. This behavior was not only unexpected but also potentially dangerous.
The obstacle avoidance system proved overly cautious, often unnecessarily braking hundreds of feet before reaching nearby vehicles.
Reversing out of parking spaces became a jarring experience, as the car would come to a complete stop, incorrectly perceiving the presence of an object. This unexpected behavior might cause discomfort or even minor injuries.
Given my overall experience, I cannot confidently recommend the Polestar 2 to others. If I had to make an analogy, I would compare a Tesla to an iPad Pro and the Polestar to an Amazon Fire tablet.
I think Polestar should reevaluate their pricing strategy to better align with the features and performance their vehicles offer.

For now we do not recommend buying a Polestar, if you are thinking regarding an electric model. Look to the side of Tesla, Kia or Hyundai.
