Eugene (USA): Sweden’s Armand Duplantis on new pole vault record.

Duplantis, who is also the current world champion, set a new record by jumping 6.23 meters at the Prefontainecla ASIC Track and Field Championship. The old record held by Duplantis was 6.22 meters.

Ethiopia’s Gudaf Tsega also set a world record. Tsega set the record in the 5000m race. The actor ran in 14 minutes 00.21 seconds. Kenya’s Faith Kipayegon broke the 14 minutes 05.20 seconds set earlier this year.
