Poland is the first NATO state to deliver fighter jets to Kiev – Ukraine

It might be the beginning of a turning point in Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine: Poland’s President Andrzej Duda announced on Thursday that four MiG-29 fighter jets will be handed over to Ukraine in the next few days; other machines would still be serviced and handed over at a later date, Duda explained following a meeting with the new Czech President Petr Pavel. Poland has a total of a dozen MiGs, and the surrendered machines will be replaced by modern fighter jets.
